Just a thought
Oprah (can I just say that I love her?!) had on her show today Jenny McCarthy and Warrior Women was the theme of the show. I got in on the show about half way into it and I found it to be a very good show. Jenny's son has Autism and she has been very open in her struggles with that and with how he is doing now. As far as I know, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think her son is doing so much better! Anyways, so many of the viewers were intersted in what Jenny had to say that she did a live thing over the computer where people called in and emailed in their questions and Jenny answered as many as she could. Of course I had to watch. And, I don't even feel like I wasted an hour of my time at all. She is such an amazing woman and it seems like she wants to do so much good in the world. Anyways, there is a point to this post... I don't remember the question that was asked, but I do remember her response. Jenny said she was playing with her son telling him that she loved him but he just wouldn't respond to her. She called her mom so depressed asking for words of inspiration. Her mom told her this, "Everything responds to love." I think that is one of the most true statements! And how wonderful that is. Jenny said from then on, even though her son didn't know she was there, she would send him love all the time and she knew that he could feel it. I think that is one of the most amazing things I have heard in a long time. Let us always remember that everything responds to love.

Farewell...
Andrea came for a visit! And, it was pretty exciting. It was kind of a bitter sweet moment though. She was one fantastic roommate, that's for sure. And she is one amazing friend. I am SO excited for her. I know that she will be an amazing missionary and an amazing servant for the Lord. She has such an ability to connect with people and to make people feel comfortable. Andrea, GOOD LUCK! You will be AWESOME. And, you won't even miss me because I will send you the most amazing letters you will ever get. Only, I'm no good at writing letters, so just tell me that they are amazing and write me great ones back. I have some awesome memories with Andrea and I'm sure glad I have them. Love you!! See you when you get back to the good ole United States!!

My Side Aches
Holy cow. I have so much homework to do and so many dishes to wash. But, I couldn't not post this right now. Before I forget and I don't remember why exactly it was so funny.
A little background info...the carpet cleaners are coming tomorrow. Sometime between 9am and 5pm. Nice for planning purposes huh? So anyways, I have been trying all evening to pick everything up off the ground so they can come. Since our apartment is so small, it is not an easy task to do this. Anyways, I was cleaning all evening and when Brent got home he started to help me. Tonight, I have been trying to do some homework and he has been cleaning up his side of the room for me. What a sweetie. As of just a little bit ago, he started folding laundry. Pretty simple task, right?
Anyways...I was sitting here on the computer and remembered that I wanted him to see a video. So, he came over and sat on the bed so he could hear the video. The clip ended and he left to resume folding laundry. I put my hands on the bed and wondered why it was so wet. He then told me it was because he had been sitting there! What?! He told me that he was so sweaty because he was working so hard. I was so appreciative of him, until I remembered what he was doing: folding clothes!! When I asked him about this he said it was because he was doing a little jig with his feet and I couldn't see it because I was on the other side of the bed. He walks over to me, looks at me, smiles, and then does the funniest jig I have ever seen in my whole life. It was kind of Irish looking with some really fancy footwork. I laughed so hard. I don't remember when I have laughed that hard in my whole life. Everytime I walked over to that side of the bed, he would bust out in his little jig so it looked like he was working really hard. He just told me that he was actually going for a riverdance feel. What?! Everytime he does this dance of his, it gets better. First it started funny, yet on the simpler side. Then he added some fancy foot crosses in there. He just did another dance and this time it had a jump! And it was a pretty high jump too! Oh, what a boy, what a boy.
Anyways, I asked him if he would let me video him and he said no. Oh man. I wish, wish I would have had the camera ready for that one. He is one funny boy.
So, I tried to put a video from youtube on here, but I have no idea how to do it. But, look up Lord of the Dance on youtube and watch for yourself what Brent was trying to do. He was pretty good if you ask me. Especially for someone who has never been trained. Haha!!
I sure do love that boy.

You Are Special
I have been wanting to get this book for a long time. (I heard it at a church thing and fell in love with it. The pirctures are amazing and the story is just beautiful. I highly recommend this story to anyone and everyone.) I just haven't done it because it is always too expensive for my pockets. However, I never have forgotten it and always check the bookstore to see if maybe, just maybe the price will have been lowered. Well my friends it never does go down. It is only $20 and I would gladly pay it, but I know that I could use that money elsewhere. So, on Friday, Brent and I went to the bookstore because I wanted to get a book that was on clearance. I couldn't find it. Anywhere. But, I did check for my favorite book. And, guess what?! No...they didn't have it on clearance and the price wasn't any lower, but they did have a deal none the less. For the same $20, I got two books in one. There is the You Are Special book and then also in the book is Best of All. I love both of them. They are by the same author and the message is just as sweet in the second book as it is in the first. Brent is the sweetest boy in the whole world for letting me get it. Oh, I have read it a handful of times already. It will be great for my own kids someday and it will also be great for my classroom! Hooray for me and Brent!!!
Huggles?
Yes. Huggles. You won't find them in the dictionary. You won't see them just happening on a regular basis. But, they happen to be one of my favorite things in the whole world. Actually, they happen to be a few of my favorite things. Brent introduced me to the magical world of huggles yesterday. We were just laying in bed when I told me to come cuddle with him so he could give me a huggle. I was confused. A huggle? He said yes. Well....huggles are these ever so neat hug type of things. You have to say "huggle huggle huggle" and shake while you are hugging someone. There are fast huggles where Brent talks in a high pitched, fast voice and huggles me quickly. There are slow-mo huggles where he talkes slow and deep and boring and huggles me long and drawn out. There are in love huggles where he talks every so sweetly and the huggles are just normal. I don't know why, but I love huggles. I am such a fan of them. I dare you to try it. Go on...a little huggle never hurt anyone!
