a few cooking adventures
First, the Dominguez's came over the other week for dinner. For dessert, we had angle food cake with strawberries and whip cream. I made a different face for everyone. Brandi's was this cute little smiley face. Felipe had a smile with hair. Brent had a dead person. I don't remember what mine was though. They were all pretty cute.
Yesterday for dinner, I wanted to try something different. So, I crushed some ritz crackers, added some flour, spices, and parmesean cheese, dipped my chicken in and baked. Might I say, it was quite delightful. I am quite good at making random things. I served it to Brent over chicken flavored rice. Mmm.
And, tonight, I found out that I am a terrible pancake flipper. Terrible. These are my best ones and they aren't that great. I think I will get better though. These were quick to make and tasty with strawberries. "The strawberries and whip cream sure improve the taste of these pancakes." -Grandma Viv
There you have it folks. I am a pretty fantastic cook. I look forward to the days of no school so I can cook a nice meal every night!

Since I have nothing bolg-worthy....I am finally going to get around to doing a tag. I still have one from Kevin to do...so maybe that will come soon too.
1. Brent is my very best friend. In the whole world. Yesterday, our Sunday School lesson was about eternal marriages and he was sharing his testimony at the end of the lesson and told our class that he was happy to be with his best friend for eternity. So, I'm his best friend, too!
2. I love Full House. I record 2 episodes of it every single day and watch it when I can. It has been on today as I have been cleaning. I actually wrote down a quote from the show..."Don’t miss out on what’s happening right now just because you’re waiting for something better to come along. You can’t live for the future, just like you can’t live for the past" -Danny Tanner. I love this show! And, it has so many touching family moments. Right now on the show....Danny is making out with Vicky. Whoa.
3. I am almost done with my degree in Special Education!! I will finish in December! I can not even believe it. It hit after I finished my final last week. I only have Student teaching left! My major and my minor will be done. Then I will have to get a real job. Holy moly. I can't even believe that it is almost over.
4. I have some of the most amazing friends. Period.
5. I can't wait to be a mom. Somedays are hard when I see other people having babies. Not that I watch people as I have their babies...but you know what I mean. And Brent can't wait to be a dad. He will be the greatest dad.
6. I have known Brent for forever. Me and Heather-his sister-were in the same nursery class when we were tiny. I guess I was a real piece of work. Pulling her hair and stuff. Who knew we would be great friends throughout high school and then become sisters?
7. One of my favorite things to do when I am working on the computer is to push all of the home keys at once and see if they all show up on the screen. I love it when it happens! Like this....ladfskj;

She did it!
Jeanine won! She was awesome in so many dances and yes, I am happy she won. The video I posted below was one of my favorites of her.

I'm done crying about it...
And believe me, I really did cry.
Sunday we came home from Kevin's house. Brent had left his wallet in the car and so he had to go and get it. I wanted to go and get in bed and so as I was walking to the bedroom, I looked down. And I saw.....a huge spider! It was awful looking. But, I didn't want it to run away before Brent came back inside so I was going to be the hero of the day. So, I got my tennis shoe and killed the spider! I picked up my shoe to see the damage that had been done to find my carpet crawling with tiny, baby spiders. It was awful. I screamed. Brent came back to find me hitting the carpet over and over again. He sprayed the carpet with Raid. Basically, nobody believed me that it was awful and terrifying. I was so scared.
I looked it up on the internet. I'm pretty sure my house is infected with Wolf Spiders. Yeah....I am afraid to get off the couch in case they come for me. I just need to figure out how to jump to my shoes and then all will be well.
PS. I was going to put a picture on....but when I googled for pictures I was so grossed out I had to close my eyes and get away from the pictures. Ew.
