MTC

I uploaded some pictures to my picture blog. (click here if you want to see them) We took Elder Jackson to the MTC today. It is crazy that he is already so old. He is going to be a great missionary and people will be lucky to meet him.

I made homemade bread today! And it only took 1 hour from start to finish. And it rose beautifully! I can't believe how amazing it looks. Oh I am so proud of myself. Go ahead....praise me. :)

We had some delightful Chinese food for dinner and Brent wrote me the sweetest note.

I'm glad I have my Valentine for eternity.

When I was at work, the student sitting across me at the lunch table was eating this huge piece of pizza. I was quite hungry at the time and I wanted some pizza myself. So...I had this brilliant idea. Why don't we make pizza for dinner? We have a pizza stone that my madre got me for Christmas and we had yet to use it. So, when I got home, we got the dough going and ran to the store to get our supplies. I told Brent I wanted to take pictures throughout our whole process. It was such a fun night! I love that I have the greatest husband who will make pizza with me. :)

1. Roll out the dough that we made earlier.
2. Get flour everywhere when Brent encourages me to throw the dough in the air like a real pizza maker.

3. Smile for a picture while rolling the dough.

4. Put the sauce on the pizza.

5. Put the Parmesan on the pizza and some pizza seasoning.

6. Layer the peperoni on the pizza in a pretty fashion.

7. Put pizza on top of the peperoni.

8. Next comes sausage, green peppers for me, and olives.

9. A light sprinkling of cheese and into the oven.

10. And comes a lovely pizza! For our first time, it looks pretty delightful.

This recipe website is awesome. You can search for what you want and then sort by nutrition, ratings, time to make, photos.....it is just incredible. I haven't made anything from here as I just came across it, but believe me, I shall try these delights. I hope you like it. :)

22 is gonna be a good age!

It was my birthday! And it was fabulous!

I came home from work to lovely flowers that Brent got me for my birthday. I love getting flowers from him. :)
We went to dinner at Red Robin. Mmmm, it was so YUMMY. I love that place. It was fun to have so many friends around on my birthday.

We came home and opened presents (!!), ate some birthday cake, and played Mario. It was a delight.

It is my birthday cake! Brent got me a cake from Cold Stone and it was yuuuuummy.

It was Chris's birthday last Saturday. Here I am, getting to his birthday post. :) It's not that I forgot, I just didn't post yet.

So, here are a few things I love about Chris.

>>Chris is hilarious. If you don't know him, you are missing out. He is one of the funniest people I know.

>>Chris has this horse blanket that he has had for forever. And he still loves it. It is getting thin and worn out but he still sleeps with it every night.

>>Chris is a great kid. He knows who he is and he isn't afraid to be himself. He has a strong testimony and he will be a great missionary.

>>Chris loves Morgan. Morgan is his best friend and it is adorable.

>>Chris loves me. He doesn't say it very much, but I know he loves his older, wiser sister.
