fun run

J: I want to go around again. Cept, I want someone to come with me.

Mrs. H: Okay, why don't you take Mr. Tripp with you? (Mr. Tripp is a track coach, folks!)

Mr. Tripp: I have a cold though, Mrs. Hirz...

Mrs. Hirz: J, do you want Mr. Tripp (!!) to go with you or meee?

J: Hmmm, you!

Mrs. Hirz: Okay, let's go!

We run for a little bit and I wonder why I like these kids enough to do the fun run with them. Are these kids really that great? (Yes, they actually are!)

J is running like a crazy kid and I'm super slow. So he keeps running ahead of me and then runs back to catch up. What a cutie! Then he gets tired and says we should walk. OKAY!

J: Pretty soon, Mrs. Hirz we are going to get to the dinosaur graveyard.

Mrs. H: Oh are we? Wooow.

J: Yep, we are getting to it soon.

Mrs. H: When, J, when??

J: Right now! Look all around! (We are actually in the middle of the baseball field behind the school.)

J: And soon we will be getting to the volcanos where we will have to swim in the lava to get to safety.

Haha, I loved doing the fun run to hear all about the dinosaurs we have out back of the school. I didn't see a single dinosaur but in his imagination, they were everywhere.

I love my job.
